About

Nastia’s work examines the relationship between humans and the plant world and aims to mimic the temporal and playful nature of plants with her ethereal and dreamy painted works.

Through her studies and work as an Interior Architect in Sydney and Brussels, Nastia developed a sensitivity to the way our environments affect our bodies and our minds and an opportunity to create two large public art pieces in Sydney launched her art practice. As well as running a personal art practice, Nastia is interested in creating pieces for and with the community to allow them to access art and to experience its’ benefits in public spaces.

Both her smaller works and larger public art commissions aim immerse the audience in a playful yet meditative environment often featuring botanical elements.

After recently relocating from Erksineville, her studio and home are now in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains and this recent move has influenced her work greatly.

Past clients include The Solotel Group, Bulletin Place Bar, The Lifestyle Edit, The Bondi Beach Seawall, Destination Queenstown, The Cool Hunter, MBFWA, Revlon, James Estate Wines, The Galeries, Woollahra Council and Art Month Sydney.
